PHEW We made it....

I really can not believe that we arrived here on 20th May and its now 4th August! Both the kids have had a birthday in New Zealand, its mind boggling. It really is very strange... In one way it feels like home and that we have been here years, then in other ways it seems like yesterday when we were on the plane over here... Wierd.

So, whats it like to be finally here.I dont think it is going over the top to say its like a dream come true. I am not saying NZ is paradise, of course its not - but it is OUR "paradise in a real world". Thats the best way to describe how we feel about the place.

I drive Ethan to school with a view of snow capped mountains, the hawks circling around and hot air balloons gliding across the sky. Ah yes the sky. The sky is BIG here, it totally surrounds you, and its sooo blue.
Its mid winter here and the day starts frosty, after about 9am the skies are vivid blue without a cloud to be seen, it stays light till about 6pm.
